Trijicon MIL-Square (Credo 3-9x40)

Drawn to scale from Trijicon’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.

Trijicon MIL-Square (Credo 3-9x40) — second focal plane, MRAD subtensions, 3–9×

Drawn from Trijicon, Inc.’s published specification.

Subtensions

SFP, true at 9x. 0.05 mil crosshair with a 0.2 mil square at every whole mil (1-5) and a 0.2 mil hash at every half mil (0.5-5.5) on all four arms; 0.3 mil posts from 6 mil (12 mil tip to tip), drawn to 8. Illuminated section (squares 1-3 and hashes to 2.5) ends at +-3.26 mil; the black section resumes at 3.31. Drawing compromise: the sheet's Detail A shows each square with a 0.068 mil hole in its centre; the squares are drawn solid here (no white element in the renderer).

How this one was checked

Verified 15 Oct 2026 against Credo_Mil_Square_Reticle_Measurements_2900041_2900042.pdf read as vector fills. Scale 33.67 pt/mil from the 12 MIL (post tip to tip, 404 pt) and 6 MIL (centre to post tip, 202 pt) dimension lines; square and hash positions measured on the lattice to 0.001 mil on both axes. Drawn sizes agree with every callout: line 0.049 (0.05 MIL), squares 0.2005 (0.2 MIL x3 in Detail A), half-mil hashes 0.200 tall and 0.05 thick, posts 0.300 (0.3 MIL) beginning at 5.999. The only callout not drawn is the 0.068 MIL hole in each square (see notes).
